His Story
A Lifetime of Worship

“Veteran worship leader Kent Henry returns with a voice shaped by decades in His presence.”
— Jubilee Cast, 2018
Kent Henry has spent 50 years of leading the body of Christ in worship — from intimate home gatherings to arena conferences, from studio recordings to live albums that have helped shape a generation of worshipers.
His mission has always been the same: to educate, encourage, and equip all believers in the art and practice of worship. Through decades of albums, teaching resources, and live gatherings, Kent has helped people move beyond performance into His presence.
A Season of Stillness
After the passing of his beloved wife Carla, Kent stepped back from public ministry. The first months were difficult. He told the Lord he did not want to sing, play piano, or touch a guitar again — not out of anger at God, but out of grief that went deeper than words.
Then — without warning — the Lord lifted what felt like weights of despair. Kent returned to the piano. He began to sing. He led worship a week later and felt joy come back like morning light.
A New Chapter
Today Kent walks in renewed purpose. He is writing new songs, working on a new record, and launching Campfire Worship — outdoor evenings of live worship, fellowship, testimony, and prayer under the open sky in Wildwood, Missouri.
His vision is clear: “To use music and worship to release the presence of the Lord and lift despair and depression off all those who need His healing.”
“He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.”
